It has been created to honor the masterful teachings of meditation, mindfulness, selflessness, and most importantly, how to create a truly devotional relationship with God. The Vedantic Center is ecumenical and appreciates the spiritual wisdom and insight from other faiths and religions.
We believe that all souls, all human beings, are the same and are of and from God.
We honor the spiritual legacy of Swamini Turiyasangitananda-Alice Coltrane, my mother, and our Guru. Her transcendental music, literature and spiritual wisdom continues to be relevant and inspire the upliftment of humanity.

PHILOSOPHY AND PRINCIPLES
In accordance with Vedic tradition, The Vedantic Center appreciates the contributions of spiritual wisdom and insight from all faiths. Studies at the ashram included not only Vedic scriptures, but also exemplary narratives and scriptural texts from more recent revelations of God.
The Vedas have a universal outlook embracing all that is noble and sacred. There is a principle of equality in respecting all that proclaims the concept of Oneness. Man is taught to face joy and sorrow with equal serenity.
The Vedas also teach that the purpose of human birth is to make spiritual advancement to the highest perfectional stage of life which is devotional service rendered unto the Supreme Lord. Charity, kindness, selfless service, spiritual discipline and a dedicated life of devotion can bring one toward the supreme goal of life and attainment of divine realization.
Today the students of Alice Coltrane Swamini Turiyasangitananda endeavor to go forward following the wisdom teachings as they were given for over 30 years and to share them with the greater global community through Selfless Love and Selfless Service.
DIVINE MUSIC
